The Central Dogma
Is an explanation of the flow of genetic information. It states that DNA makes RNA and that makes proteins and that information cannot be transferred back from protein or nucleic acids.
A. What is the Central Dogma? Most genes have the information to make functional molecules that are proteins. In non-protein genes (ribosomal) RNA transfer RNa or small nuclear RNA genes. The process is used by eukaryotes, prokaryotes, and induced by viruses. It helps generate the macromolecular machinery of life. Genes may also serve as a evolutionary change.
